Music

I've been a huge fan of Britt Nicole since her 1st album came out. Her second one was even better than her first, and she kept up that pattern with her 3rd album Gold. I made it to the Bible book store 10 minutes before they closed the other night, and they knew exactly what I wanted when I walked through the doors. Anyway, I've listened to the album a couple times, and it's full of amazing! Every one of her songs is encouraging and optimistic! Her vocals are out of this world, so she's ultra-fun to listen to!

I don't have any of their albums, but I have several songs from several of their albums. One of my friends has said that Group 1 Crew is "the Black-Eyed Peas of Christian music," and he is completely right! Their music and beats just keep me going as I run! My personal favorite song they perform is "Our Time," as it's simply an amazing song!

Over Christmas break, I splurged and bought Mandisa's new What if we Were Real album on iTunes. The songs are all positive, and many of them reflect the great change Mandisa herself has undergone in recent years. Since she was on Season 5 of American Idol, she has lost over 120 lb, all of it due exercise and a firm relationship with God.

That being said, her music is EXCELLENT for running. Her up-beat music is what I've run to so far, but I will definitely be adding more music to my playlist soon.
